Easy Fundraising...

the UK's Leading Cause Cashback Platform, sought to enhance user engagement to drive improved business outcomes. The organization aimed to empower causes to better promote their initiatives and boost traffic to their pages. Additionally, Easy Fundraising wanted to provide supporters with enhanced tools, such as browser extensions and native apps, to ensure they never missed a cashback opportunity.

The challenge...

in relation to cause payments, was to drive engagement and build on the positive experience of causes receiving their funds. In my role as Senior UX Designer, I lead the discovery definition and delivery of a strategic campaign to drive traffic back to the platform and encourage users to adopt clearly defined calls to action.

User-Centered Strategy

I collaborated closely with the Product team to introduce a more user-centered strategy. This involved understanding user needs, pain points, and aspirations to drive product enhancements that resonated with the user base.

Cause Payment Campaign

Working in close collaboration with key stakeholders within the business we devised a campaign to increase the adoption of the key Cause Payment Campaign. This initiative ensured that causes received a quarterly payment from Easy Fundraising, a reflection of the cashback gained by their supporters. It was crucial in reinforcing the impact of the platform on causes.

Redesign for Improved Adoption

One significant strategy piece involved the redesign of the browser extension UI. This effort led to a remarkable 15% increase in user adoption, demonstrating the power of user-centric design in driving results.

Design Ops and Design System

I introduced a design ops strategy that streamlined design processes and collaboration within the organization. Additionally, I developed a comprehensive design system using tools like Sketch and InVision DSM to maintain design consistency and efficiency across the platform.

Solution

In conclusion, my time as Senior UX Designer at Easy Fundraising was marked by a strategic shift towards user-centricity, which resulted in improved user adoption and cause impact. By introducing design ops practices and a design system, we ensured design efficiency and consistency, allowing Easy Fundraising to continue its mission as the UK's Leading Cause Cashback Platform effectively.
